Healthy diet

I've always struggled with my body. When I was a kid I was overweight but eventually I grew up and the problem fixed itself. Still, I've never felt comfortable with myself. My hips are big and my legs fat, but my shoulders are too skinny and small, so it makes me look weird. That's the main reason I never risk it when it comes to fashion choices.

One day I woke up and I was tired of fighting to be someone I can never be. I'm not perfect and no one  would ask me to model... ever. And thats the point! If I am not modeling why do I care so much? I'm not overweight, my colesterol is not high, medically i'm perfect... why bother?
So this days i'm just taking care of myself. I've consulted with a nutritionist that  defined my "meal plan" based on my body needs and life style. One of the main goals is to keep track of everything I eat to control myself. I also should exercise but I'm not a fan of sports so I agreed to walk for at least 1 hour a day. And one weak later... well, i've slipped a couple of times and the walking thing isn't really happening with all this rain. But adaptation takes time and efforts need to be made. That's my commitement for this week.

I've decided to publish one of my meals, today's dinner. Mushroom omelette with a side salad. For some it's breakfast, for me is delicious. I'm not a cook, far from it. I can barely do scrambled eggs, but it turned out pretty tasty and healthy.

Mushroom omelette with a side salad:

  • Mushrooms, any kind will do
  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Veggies for the salad, I used lettuce
Saute the mushrooms in just a bit of olive oil with salt, pepper and english sauce if you like. Add the eggs, previously scrambled. Dress the salad with some balsamic vinegar or any other tipe of dressing. On the plate springle some cheese just to add some more flavour. That's it! Took me 5 minutes.
Enjoy!
